Client Requirements and Preparation
Physical Ability: Clients must be prepared to hike 12–15 miles per day over uneven terrain while carrying 10 lbs of additional weight.
Medical Information: All clients must list any allergies, dietary restrictions, injuries, and prescribed medications prior to arrival.
Health Screening: Participants will undergo a pre-trip screening for conditions such as asthma, cardiac history, or joint issues.
Gear Inspection: A mandatory gear "shakedown" will occur upon pickup in Salt Lake City to ensure appropriate apparel for the Uintas' sub-freezing temperatures and sudden storms.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner will be served at camp at 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, respectively. Lunch will be provided on the trail daily.
